Screening for investigation
A screening interview is the first step towards an in-depth neuropsychiatric assessment. The purpose is to establish a first contact and gather important initial information that will help us understand your specific needs and issues.
What is a screening call?
During the screening call we will:
- Listen to your current challenges and symptoms
- Make a preliminary assessment of the need for a full investigation
- Answering your questions about the investigation process
- Mapping your background and current life situation
How do I make a reservation?
- Book an appointment directly in our booking system
- The call is either:
- Via video
- By telephone
- At our reception
Prepare for the call
To make the screening interview as effective as possible, we recommend that you
- Have a quiet and undisturbed place
- Preparing a list of your current challenges
- Collects information about any previous investigations or treatments
- Able to set aside 45-60 minutes for the call

TRAINING CHILDREN
We always conduct broad investigations of ADHD, autism and intellectual variations, and we always take into account co-morbidities that are common in children and young people. Based on the needs and issues, we always tailor both the investigation and recommendations for your particular child. After completion of the investigation, feedback is also given to the preschool/school.

Giftedness assessment
To find out the IQ level in a reliable way, testing is done in a psychologist's office using a standardized giftedness test. Giftedness assessment including oral and written feedback to children and parents.

Investigation second opinion/review of diagnosis
Do you want to update an older assessment, have your symptoms changed over time, or do you want an outside assessment team to look at your assessment, diagnosis or treatment? You no longer recognize yourself in your diagnosis. Do you want your diagnosis to be written off. We can help you with an investigation where we reassess your diagnosis.
